Sporting a Vertical Design, AA Operation, Headphone Jack, Kickstand, Carry Strap, Simple Controls, Decent FM/SW Reception, and Solid Build Quality. The D-220 is good, but not an Upgrade of the D-219. Headphone Audio on Shortwave, and AM sounds Great. AA Operation. Two FM Bands. Universal 9kHz, and 10kHz on Medium Wave. Simple Controls. Power LED. Decent Shortwave Reception on a Wire with Minimal MW breakthrough. Stands on its Own. Easy to Service. Features that could be Added or Improved on: Segmented Shortwave Band. Start Shortwave Band at 2.3, or 3.2MHz. Tuning LED. FM Stereo on Headphones. Overall, the D-220 is a Solid Radio, and gets a Recommendation if the price is near Ten USD or below. If it is higher, pick up the D-219 if it is still available. The awesome D-219 out performs the D-220 on the Bands, and I¬ sure if XHDATA will continue producing it in favor of this new Model.
