I got a fuel pump unit out of the tank of a Jaguar X-type with V6 2.1 engine. In case of other engines the fuel pump is situated in a different place and this video is of little use for their owners. The matter is that X-type with a 2.1 engine is FWD, her fuel tank of a different design, since she has got no rear driveshafts. 2.1 version is simpler and easier to maintain than her AWD colleagues, though lacks off-road capabilities. I don&urge your to cut the floor-pan of your car, it&just my idea how I get the fuel pump unit out of the tank without removing it.
