Simple, reliable, future-oriented: The new alpex-duo XS fitting – this is the added reliability FRÄNKISCHE has equipped its alpex-duo XS installation system with. The flow-optimised multilayer composite pipe system for drinking water and heating installations is practice-oriented and can be applied flexibly for more comfortable and time-saving installations. This video shows the installation of alpex-duo XS using a pipe cutter (for dimensions 16–32 mm) and using pipe shears (for dimensions 16–20 mm). Calibration is no longer required for alpex-duo XS, since the O-rings have a standard protection feature due to their size and location in the support sleeve. This makes pipe connection – especially in small and often used nominal diameters – significantly quicker but without compromising safety. After cutting with pipe shears, it saves installers one processing step: They simply insert the fitting and press it as usual.
