A non-profit organization composed of semi-professional, and professional musicians under the leadership of founding artistic director Andrew Lee, DCSW seeks to reach a wide spectrum of audiences with performances that engage the communities in which they occur. Since its founding season in 2016-17, DCSW has presented over +50 concerts collaborating with some of the region&top performing artists such as Kevin Philip Jones, Angel Gil-Ordonez, and Jeri Lynne Johnson, among others. Most recently DC Strings completed a December cycle of over 8-Messiah performances which were well-received in the DMV region, particularly in nursing homes, schools and underserved communities. www.dcstrings.org
