Shapes in English - Basic Shapes and Colours

The names of basic shapes and colours in English. The shapes in this lesson are: circle, triangle, square, rectangle, oval, diamond, star, heart shape. We give an example of each shape with its name written below it. Then there is a quick practice exercise where a shape appears with the question "What is this?" The viewer needs to say what the shape is before the answer appears on screen (within 4 or 5 seconds). Next we add a color / colour before each shape. There are two colors for each shape e.g. green circle appears first and then yellow circle. Then there is another quick practice exercise where a colored shape appears with the question "What is this?" Students needs to say the color and shape before the answer appears on the screen. e.g. blue square. Listening Activity In the final section, there are 16 shapes of different colors (only the shapes we have already seen). Then you will hear a question such as "Where is the orange rectangle?" (This question won&be written on the screen... this is a listening activity.)
