Orbiting the gas giant Calpamos in the Zeta II Reticuli system, LV-426 is infamous for its harsh, inhospitable environment. The surface is perpetually shrouded in darkness, battered by violent electrical storms, acid rain, and howling winds. Jagged rock formations and barren plains stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a landscape that feels both alien and oppressive. To make the moon suitable for human habitation, the Weyland-Yutani Corporation established a terraforming colony called Hadley’s Hope. Central to this effort was the installation of a massive atmosphere processor—a towering, industrial complex designed to convert the toxic, unbreathable air into an oxygen-rich atmosphere.
