Soma Rumble of Ancient Times & Walrus Audio Slö - 10 minutes of drone synth, dark ambient soundscap

Here&a nice lengthy 10 minutes of Drone with the Soma ROAT and Walrus Audio Slö reverb pedal. I wanted to do something spacey and ambient this morning, with a minimal setup, so these two did the job for me. Most of the video is just going through oscillator voices and lfo waveforms, and applying more or less here and there. The ROAT seems to sound really nice just in basic startup mode, but it&important to go out and explore. Lots of knobs twiddling to be had here. On the Slö, I still need to read the manual or watch a video again, but I was able to tweak some secondary functions, and latching which was a good time. It makes it a lot easier to explore gear on simple jams with just one or two other pieces to focus on. I can also appreciate jamming with all pieces at once guns blazing being awesome and feels like you are powering a spaceship. This small setup vibe is nice for me I find for when I like to keep jams easy when inspiration hits, and it keeps things fresh with a constant rotation of gear in my synth roster. Also, desk size comes in play, which is why I&been leaning towards small but fun and awesome synths these days. Thanks for reading this, watching and listening.
