Laura Biel lives in Warsaw, builds her career, and tries to hold on to a relationship in which passion and trust have long since disappeared. A trip to Sicily was supposed to be a short break for her, but instead it turns into a dangerous encounter with Massimo Torricelli — the heir to a mafia family who has been obsessed for years with the image of a woman he saw at a moment of tragedy.
