As some of you may know, a grainy recording exists of The Beatles covering this song at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany circa 1962. It&a wonderful song, and Arthur Alexander&music always needs more attention these days. So I figured I&cover it using The Beatles&arrangement with sort of a "live" feel to it. So here it is, including my "live take" George Harrison style solo. Something I found a bit interesting - I believe John plays the rhythm guitar as shown here, all super easy with absolutely no movement. That&right, the entire song can be played without moving past the 3rd fret. I&heard people jumping up to the 5th fret to grab a Dm (and sometimes going higher for the Bb), but I just can&imagine John Lennon doing that - especially while singing. This is the lazy man&way of playing, and the Dm is just a funny way of chording it where you play the F on the D string (at the 3rd fret) instead of leaving it open. Both John and George used this chord formation frequently!
