FLC Fun Loving Criminals KING OF NEW YORK drum cover on Sonor drums

One of my favourite Fun Loving Criminals tracks from the 90s has obviously been The King Of New York. Yet, I couldn&understand how low in volume & somewhat "thin" the original drums sounded on the track ever since. Hence I felt like recording my own drum track now & mixing it more in da face KONY style man (well and yes, I did play some more fills too...) 🥁🥁🥁 I am playing my lovely Sonor Vintage Series drumkit once again (to which I added a 13" Sakae Bubinga snare for a nice funky crack snare sound), Agean Natural Series cymbals and Audio-Technica drum microphones. 🎤 On the recording side, there are API3124s, WA-412s and a nice A-Designs Pacifica preamp on the overheads.
