Sergey Krylov is a Russian violin virtuoso who is one of the greatest violinists of our day and now lives in Italy, He tours worldwide, teaches virtuoso classes in Italy and contributes to technical projects with the Stradivarius society. After a truly smashing concerto that featured the exceptional pyrotechnics of Paganini&work, Krylov played four solo encores. This is part of the third, Caprice number 17, The instrument Krylov is playing in this video is the "Scotland University" Stradivarius violin, made by Antonio Stradivarius in Cremona in 1734 and still bearing its original label.
