Front Door Stripdown and Removal - Peugeot 406

How to completely strip and remove a front door from a peugeot 406 Saloon or Estate. This includes removing the door latch, key barrel, electric window mechanism, door glass, and wing mirror. The video should help if your having problems with a door latch such as it not locking or unlocking, if your window isn&going up and down, if you need to replace a smashed window, or if your door needs to be removed for a respray. Removing the key barrel can be a bit awkward but i found the trick is to press in on the key barrel from the outside, then when you go to remove it on the inside it comes away with no fuss As was the case with the rear doors i used a forklift to support their weight, however because the back doors had a larger flat area for the strap to tie to their weight was evenly supported, when i tied the front doors the strap just went to the middle of the door leaving it unbalanced, i should have put one end of the strap at the top corner of the door and the other at the wing mirror hole. Getting the front wiring connectors out is a real pain, mainly because of that ring of plastic, i broke it here in the video, but with a bit of patience it will come off and the plugs slide out through the A pillar, its even worse trying to get them to click back into place, something i can remember when adding the LED puddle lights to the wing mirrors was spending almost an hour trying to get these things to go back into place correctly. Unfortunately they are inevitably awkward...
