My social media profiles & sites: Two solos from "Holy Wars" by Megadeth. I remember that I bought his DVD "Melodic Control" when I was like 13 and I fell in love with his playing ever since (obviously knew him before from Rust in Peace, but this was the breaking point). Solos on "Rust in Peace" are just insane, this is a level that no one ever has beaten. Tornado of Souls is the best solo in metal music that has been ever recorded, period. I love this record so much and always wanted to learn to play those solos (especially hangar 18, will get there soon 😉 ). So I recorded those two short solos, which doesn&seem to be super tough, but are way harder to play then they look. I always wanted to break down that ending bluesy lick from first solo, which is just nuts, spent few hours to learn it and get it the right way, or at least close enough 😉.
