Friedrich Kalkbrenner - Étude op. 143 no. 16 in C# minor

Another of Kalkbrenner&op.143 etudes. This Bach-inspired étude (or prelude, as Kalkbrenner names it) has a very interesting question-asking game between both hands and a very powerfull baroque harmony in the first section. The second one, in "plaquée" chords technique is more of his time. Finally a dramatic IV-I section closes this beautiful and small piece. I hope you like it.
