Russian pianist Daniel Kramer debuted in the U.S. at the opening Gala of the inaugural competition and festival for young musicians in Philadelphia, dedicated to George Gershwin and called "You Got Rhythm." After giving the Gala recital, maestro Kramer visited the studios of WRTI FM (www.wrti.org), a public jazz and classical radio station of Temple University, where he was a special guest of the late night jazz program The Bridge, hosted my J. Michael Harrison. Kramer appeared alongside Francesca Gershwin, singer and arts entrepreneur, a grand-niece of George and Ira Gershwin. Both artists helped launch the You Got Rhythm competition, presented for the first time by Music For Youth Company.
