Magura MT5 disc brakes with Shimano SLX handles on my emtb

I absolutely love my double piston Magura MT5 brakes on my converted Radon Swoop 170 ebike. The only problem is the spongy plastic-bodied MT5 handles. One has simply broken down by braking... (btw after 4 weeks Magura customer service replied & stated it is not a warranty case...) And the second one did not survive one of the crashes last week. I have heard people mixing Magura and Shimano and getting positive results + there were no Magura parts neither in Hafjel nor in Trysil bike parks in Norway. So I went with SLX handle to try it out myself. I am riding this ShiGura setup for more than a month now (daily) and I am completely satisfied with the performance.
