Today we&testing out version 1.0.3 of Dark Souls with Version 147 of Yuzu on an Android flagship smartphone. ~~~~~ Video Description ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have the Samsung Galaxy S23 here and today we&be emulating Dark Souls on the Switch with version 147 of Yuzu. This install has NCE enabled (aka Native Code Execution), which really helps the performance of the game on some mid-range hardware. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset inside this phone, though, NCE helps to keep the FPS pegged at 30 far more often than before. So you are likely to get less frame drops with NCE enabled but your mileage may vary depending on the phone and the chip inside it. I&been quite impressed with how the game plays on Android with the help of Yuzu but you will need to install the Lighting Fix before you&be able to play it properly. Without that mod installed, everything will be too dark for you to actually play the game. So if you need access to the Lighting Fix mod mentioned here, be sure to check the video description below for a link to download that file directly. I&also include a link to the 60FPS hack, but I have yet to figure out how to load it properly. When I put the mod in the same folder I have the lighting fix in, Yuzu doesn&seem to load it. But I&include a link to download it below this video for those who may want to try and load it themselves. Just be sure to let us know how you got it working down in the comments section below. So let&go ahead and load up the game.
