Mercedes Sprinter 519 OM642 - Radiator Replacement

Our videos describe basic maintenance for vanlifers with Sprinters as well as videos of our vanlife adventures. In this video we show you how to replace your radiator. While this may not be something you do as regular maintenance it is important to replace your radiator if it has started leaking. In one of our other videos we show you how to fix a radiator temporarily to get you where you need to go, until you can order a new radiator and swap it out. This job may be very frustrating at times as there is not a lot of space, but we have included a few helpful tips to make it a bit easier. Not only is it rewarding being able to change out the radiator yourself, but it can save you a considerable amount of money compared to bringing it into a shop.
