Lexus GX470 Check Engine Code P0051 Fix - Oxygen Sensor Replacement Bank 2 Sensor 1

In this video I work on my 2009 Lexus GX470. Check Engine light indicated code P0051, which is faulty oxygen sensor bank 2 (passenger side) sensor 1 - pre-catalytic converter (closest to the engine). I have ordered the part on Amazon for around $100. Same part at the Lexus dealer is over $300! With proper tools, this job takes about 20 minutes to complete for an experienced mechanic or a gearhead. If this is your first time, it may take over an hour, and may cause a lot of frustration. Approach with caution if you have sausage fingers/large hands and do not attempt the job if you do not have the necessary tools. You are going to need a short/stubby oxygen sensor socket. I have rented mine from a local auto parts store (O&You will need a flat head screwdriver, a ratchet and some extensions. PB Blaster or other penetrating fluid is highly recommended to be sprayed over the sensor connection to exhaust manifold the night before attempting this job.
