Echo Song - Orlando di Lasso

As part of their "Voices of Innocence - wonder • hope • joy" concert set, The Vocal Art Ensemble of Davis, CA presented the Echo Song (O la, o che bon eccho!) of Orlando di Lasso. This is a custom English translation of the work. This piece was intended to illustrate the sheer sense of play in youth. The song has the singers having a mock &with their echo, and goes through a wide variety of emotions and reactions to their own words being spit back at them.
