How to change your volume serial number using VolumeID by Nicholas Lee Fagan

This is a quick demonstration on how to use VolumeID, by Mark Russinovich of Sysinternals, to change your volume&serial number. Some programs even tie your software license to your volumes serial number. Contrary to popular belief this is not your disk&actual serial number. You get a random volume serial number when you install Windows. It&stored in your boot sector on your hard-drive.
