Brother HL-4040CN Color Laser Printer Repair "Unable Print 32"

Here is a simple fix that almost anyone can do for Brother Laser Printers that give the "Unable Print 32" error message. I believe that this fix works for many Brother Laser Printers and so don&despair if your printer&model number is not the same as mine. At least check out your printer&internal parts first before giving up. Inside is a "paddle of sorts" that moves back and forth against a foam pad. Over time, this foam pad becomes sticky and the paddle does not return to it&original position in time, thus causing the printer to give the "Unable Print 32" error message. So all you need to do, is apply a small piece of tape to the foam pad, effectively covering up the sticky surface and that&it. Getting to the part is simple enough too. I hope that this video helps you fix your printer. I wish that I had filmed this with better lighting, but I think that once you get repairing your printer, that everything will make sense despite the poor lighting.
