New 2023 Toyota Innova Zenix (Hycross) - Strong Hybrid Family MPV

The seventh generation of the venerable family MPV has taken on an SUV look and stance, and a hybrid powertrain option has now been confirmed. The Toyota Innova 2023 is built on the same TNGA-C platform as the Toyota Corolla, Corolla Cross, C-HR, current-generation Prius, and Lexus UX. The new Innova is designed to be more masculine and SUV-like than its predecessors. The car&front fascia is finished in contrast black with chrome surrounds and features a large trapezoidal grille. A stylish cheatline runs down the middle of its broad front bumper, which cleverly morphs into triangular units at each corner. On the cheatline, LED daytime running lights are also mounted horizontally. The two character lines run the length of the MPV in profile, neatly merging with the wraparound LED taillights. This styling is similar to that of the Avanza Veloz MPV sold in other markets. In terms of underpinnings, the new Toyota Innova replaces the rear-wheel-drive IMV platform with a lighter, more sophisticated front-wheel-drive TNGA modular architecture, making it lighter and roomier than its predecessor. The new Innova is 4755mm long, 1850mm wide, and 1795mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2850mm. The ground clearance remains unchanged despite being longer and having a 100mm longer wheelbase than its predecessor.
