How to take apart John Deere hydraulic cylinder

In this video I discuss how to disassemble John Deere hydraulic cylinders with the internal lock ring. These are very confusing if you don't know how they come apart. The cylinder in the video is a swing cylinder on a 2007 Deere 710J. Most of the cylinders on this machine were of a similar type. I hope this helps someone.
