A diy, step by step video demonstration on how the ABS, VSC and Brake system warning lights were reset on 2008 Toyota Prius. Donations to TryAdaptLearn via Ko-fi are greatly appreciated #toyotafortuner This is reset procedure only, if indicator lights keep coming on after they are reset the problem is likely still occurring. Take the vehicle to have a Toyota and/or ASE technician with diagnostic tools to run through the ABS and braking system. If you must troubleshoot yourself, next steps would likely be to check: Computer maintenance codes Electrical fuses 12 volt battery voltage Brake fluid level Brake pad/shoe wear Continuity of wires to the brake system sensors Faulty sensors ABS pump and/or actuator In this video a jumper wire from an electronics kit was used. Others have used a paper clip as the jumper. Any wire with a small enough gauge would lead to similar results. Tools that may help troubleshooting issues like this: Jumper Wire Kit 140 Piece Klein Tools MM325 Multimeter Thank you for your support: Your donations will help to support TryAdaptLearn View other videos on this channel.
