....as You can likely tell --- I adore this mish-mash machine!🍀 - now, when I say "quite expensive" what i actually mean, in this specific case, is between £450 and £700, which is what all-original examples of these are fetching, which is pretty much in-line with a Korean Squire of the same period, a little more, perhaps, due to both rarity and the solid alder body rather than a laminate. It is a very unusual guitar - in its current state it is far, far away from where it started. But she plays nicely, she is somewhere on the fence between a Strat and a Tele, and I THINK that was the intention of whoever modded this. Well, the achieved exactly that - it is a sound exactly between the two, keeping some, and shedding other, aspects of both. I love it; and the plan, at least for the moment, is to leave here as-is, just as the builder intended. I habve had many notions of ways to improve, but I think preserving the very specific sonic balance that this machine has &Strat and Tele, is the right idea. A great guitar for crystal-sharp glassy cleans, and Gilmour territories.
