Just a quick video showing how to replace the Fuel Pump Assembly in a 2010 Toyota Tundra 5.7. This should be the same for Tundras 2007-2014 and maybe more. It is common for the Fuel sending unit, or Fuel level sensor to fail on these Tundras. This vehicle showed that it had about 1/8th of a tank on the gauge on the dash, but when we dropped the tank, it was very close to empty. I let the owner know that it was probably just out of gas and that the fuel sending unit was possibly the only thing we needed to change, but he decided to change the entire assembly since I already had the tank out and he already had the entire assembly on hand. This video would still be helpful to someone changing the fuel sending unit, because you would still have to remove the fuel pump assembly to do so. Pump assembly was purchased at a local O&Auto Parts Import Direct Fuel Pump Part # A30432 Tools needed: 10mm wrench to disconnect battery small flathead screwdriver phillips screwdriver or 10mm socket with extension to remove clamp on fill tube. 14mm deep socket to remove tank straps adjustable spanner wrench for the tank ring, or just tap a screwdriver or better yet, a brass drift carefully so as not to damage the ring or cause an explosion. floor jack or lift with transmission jack to lower the tank. It would&been helpful to have another person helping too. Thanks for watching! Please subscribe! -Dan the Fix it Man www.danthefixitman.org Zerex Asian Vehicle Blue
