36cc - Echo 360WES exhaust modified(cat removal + baffle defeat) 43cc - Makita 4300F(Dolmar 421) ported using L tunnels 43cc - Stihl MS241CM ported, stratos partially compromised 71cc - Stihl 10mm red lever 044 ported - stratos are fo suckaz 87cc - Husqvarna 288XP exhaust modified, cleaned up cylinder(but similar timing to the 044) All have new factory out of the box chain, except the 241 whose chain has seen better days. The 241 has standard kerf 325 Oregon semi chisel 62dl on a 16 inch Sugihara bar. The 360 and 4300 are using Oregon LoPro, and in fact have the exact same bar and chain set ups from the same manufacturers(15 inch Tsumura bars, 53dl Oregon VXL chain). The 044 has Oregon EXL chain on a 24 inch 84dl Stihl bar. The 288XP is wearing a set of 102dl Oregon DPX semi chisel chains on a 32 inch Tsumura L&T bar. The 241 has a 6 pin 325 rim(it came with the saw), so even though it is pulling similar revs to the 4300f, it is churning through the wood a bit slower, and the chain did do a fair few cuts before the vid. The 241 will easily pull a 7 pin rim. The piece of oak has ~80 growth rings and is one of the toughest pieces of wood I have come across in recent times. The 288 and 044 in this vid have very similar port timing(~98*/117*/73*), but the ports are wider on the 044, and the ignition on the 044 is advanced. The 288 pulls in more mix per revolution simply by virtue of it&displacement(87cc vs 71cc) and a larger carburetor, and it pulls much stronger even though...
