Medieval Dance: Farandole

This is the medieval dance &danced by the Ripponlea dancers to Sumer is Icumin In, performed by the Early Music Consort of Melbourne. This dance formed part of The Courtly Arts Performers of Victoria&concert &Back in Time&performed here at Trinity Uniting Church, Brighton (29/5/22), and repeated at the Warrandyte Community Centre a week later. Steps Back in Time was our first concert involving Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music and dance since 2019. It was the debut performance of four of our dancers. The Courtly Arts Performers of Victoria are an Australian performance group, comprising dancers formerly known as the Ripponlea Renaissance and Baroque dancers, and the Early Music Consort of Melbourne.
