Boss DS-1 Distortion vs Boss DS-2 TURBO Distortion Shootout One is a near legendary distortion pedal, and the other is TURBO. Turbo is more, and more is more. So this should be distortion goodness. What I wanted to find out was exactly how different do these pedals sound. The DS-2 has the turbo mode, which gives you more flexibility, but how does the regular mode of the DS-2 compare to the DS-1?
