MSI Ge70 Apache Pro 012: How to Install a msata SSD

█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ The MSI GE70 Apache laptop has two Msata SSD slots, so you can add two Msata SSD drives if you wish. In this video, I will install only one Msata SSD drive. The Msata SSD is about 3 to 5 times faster than a standard 2.5" hdd, so it could speed up your boot time. Procedure: 1. Remove the battery by opening the latches. 2. Remove the 5 screws holding the back plate in place. 3. Install the Msata ssd in one of the two Msata slots. Put the Msata ssd in at a 40 degree angle to the msata slot, it should just go in without any force. Then, push the msata ssd in, but make sure the msata drive is in first. Then, screw the screw in place. 4. Put the back plate lid back on. 5. Screw all 5 screws back in. 6.
