Ultimate MK3 [SNES] - play as unused character

This is a playthrough of single player mode using an unused ninja character called "Rain" in the SNES version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Read on below for more information... This version of "Rain" seems to be an unused character in the game. Therefore he is a non-selectable character. NOTE: Lifebar cheats are used to save time due to the CPU opponents being ridiculously difficult and unfair. ===== GAMEPLAY & INFORMATION ===== To put it quite simply, this character seems to be just Scorpion without any special moves and finishing moves. He has Scorpion&close combos. It&almost like as if he is a "template" male ninja character. ---- His name text under the lifebar is "RAIN", but when he wins a match, his name text is "SCORPION". ---- He uses Scorpion&sprites for gameplay and versus screens. ---- Surprisingly, his icon image on the fight plan screen is Motaro&one! ---- He has no special moves. ---- He has no finishing moves. ---- He has Scorpion&close-up combos. ---- It is unclear on why this character is in the game. My guesses are: A) He was originally planned early on to appear as the "fake" Rain that you see in the attract intro of the Arcade version of the game... but in the end decided to make Rain a real character just like as in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. B) He was planned to be Chameleon. ---- When you complete the game with him, he does not have an ending.
