#mercedesmods whats up guys back again with another video ?? if your new to the channel im mikey this is mikeyz vlogz and on this channel ?? i do a whole bunch of videos on mercedes benz w204 and now w203 how to videos tips and tricks fixes common fault and issues and step by step tutorials helping other w204 owners to DIY themselves at home and help keep the money in your pocket ? in this video i show you how to simply swap out your factory climate control unit to a newer nicer looking climate control unit from an w207 e class my model is a 2010 and i used a 2014 w207 e class climate unit as long as the plug are the same everything will work as per usual you can also use units off a w212 as well so long as the plugs are the same this is such an easy mod and well worth it to me... yes there is a bit of modifying that is needed such as trimming your w204 climate control surround and also trimming the w207 e class climate control unit as well but its something very doable by anyone i show exactly what i did in order to get it to fit nice and snug no need to use glue or any kind of adhesive to make it stay and stick... the way i show you , you even have the choice of leaving it the way that it is or after you can choose to cover up the remaining holes any way you choose the choice would be yours.. everyone will go about this project differently but my purpose of this video was to show you can do it and swap them out and still be able to use the functions like...
