Hyundai Sonata 2.7 6 Cyl Camshaft sensor location

Location of the camshaft sensor on a 2002-2005 Hyundai Sonata. Y believe this may apply to all 2.7 Hyundai engines but I could be wrong. For easier access, remove the air filter housing. You also need to remove some bolts for the parts around it that interfere with the access to the bolt for the sensor. You need to move the hardness and something that is right on top of the bolt.. Be careful removing the connector, mine was toasted and as soon as I touched it it fell apart. Had to go the the junk yard to get one. Got lucky .
