Neutral Labs Scrooge and Elektron Digitakt II: Live Electronic Performance

Scrooge&voices don&require any power at all and can produce sound just by "poking" it from other devices with CV/gate. When you power it, though, you get pretty killer sequencer and lot of "control-all" power to shape both sound and sequencing during live performance. Sound-shaping parameters are neat, because starving it for voltage doesn&just affect its volume, but also general character of sounds. Scrooge has MIDI in for synching and transport control and unpredictability/performability of Scrooge paired well with sound shaping of Digitakt II. It gives you plenty of voices and great sound, but not as much immediate control of sequencing performance, by contrast, Scrooge gives you tons of on-fly control of sequencing and weird sound that complements Digitakt II.
