Alright part two of the NHL double header, this time starring Brett Hull. First and foremost this game was *loud* I usually have to crank the audio in editing but for this one I actually had to turn it down. Not complaining mind you I prefer it loud but was something worth noting. The presentation of this one absolutely curb-stomped NHL 95, they have Al Michaels doing the color commentary, more effort was pit into the graphical presentation, all in all some really nice stuff going on here in the audio and visual department. Control however I think I have to give the nod to EA. This game felt really slippery, and yes I understand that its played on ice and thus should probably feel a little slippery but I dont know, I never really felt like I had good control over my players. If there was any real takeaway from this is that I am bad at hockey but still enjoyed both games enough that I am looking forward to trying out more for the channel in the future. No clear winner in this bout but if I absolutely have to pick one I will say NHL 95 just because it felt better to play. In all other aspects Brett Hull takes the cake but at the end of the day gameplay is king. #nintendo
