Subaru Outback on snow with stock Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport AS Tires

This is a basic demo of the 2016 Outback with stock Dueler Bridgestone H/P Sport AS tires on snow (225/65R17). While the stock tires are not the best, they are not as bad in their performance as many claim / tend to believe. This video is a quick demo of their performance on snow (we had about 4" of snow that day). Front stayed solid with good traction; the rear-end was able to "break-free" and slide at higher turn angles and higher speeds (as I did on purpose) while braking (you can see it if you watch the shadow of the car as it is turning). While these are not the tires that I will buy when the stock tires need replacing, they are adequate all season tires and are able to handle basic snow conditions. These tries are at 17K miles with 6/32 tread on them. While they are rated as a 40K tire, I do not believe they will last to 40K. If/when I get a 2nd camera and a 2nd camera mount, I will do another simultaneous recording to include the rear tire as well. Music: Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0
