When it comes to the reasons behind various coffee machine malfunctions, limescale is definitely listed amongst those that are encountered most frequently. It clogs the water system, so water can&pass through the ground coffee anymore or it does that too slowly, trickling instead of flowing. This leads to the coffee machine being unable to perform its key function, which is brewing delicious coffee. So if you want to enjoy your coffee drinks to the fullest, don&forget to take good care of your coffee machine and descale it regularly. How often should the descaling procedure be performed? It all depends on how hard your water is. If the water you use is extremely hard, you&have to do that once every 1–2 months, but if it&soft, descaling your coffee machine once every 3 months will be enough. Furthermore, you should immediately perform the descaling procedure if: 1) you¬iced that the flow of water has become weaker or water comes out of the machine in drops; 2) water temperature has become lower. We know full well how annoying it is sometimes to search for relevant information in the user manual, so we&filmed a video to show you how a &coffee machine is descaled. All you have to do is follow these steps one after the other! Keep in mind that a well-maintained coffee machine will keep brightening your days with delicious coffee for much longer.
