Eversolo new firmware 1.2.10 has 4 cool dancing graphic equalizers (only viewing, not adjustable). ------------------- ----------- I’m running essentially a monoblock setup with the 2 Parasound stereo amps each hooked up to only 1 speaker when playing 2-channels music. (to eliminate left/right channels crosstalk for a cleaner signal, and more power) For music in a monoblock setup, the sound quality improvements that I noticed are: - bigger soundstage (Elvis live from Hawaii via satellite — song Fever, sounds as big as the auditorium!) - fuller (even old Elvis songs have never sounded so realistic live!) - more details (Holy shit even in old Elvis songs, I now hear background instruments and background singers that I didn’t notice before even though I’ve listened to the song 1000 times before!). - Tighter mid bass - Higher highs but not ear piercing - sounds more like live music - center image: phantom center vocalist is less forward which sounds more like live music. CON: I now hear the noise floor hiss (when I place my ear against the GoldenEar BRX speakers with 90db sensitivity); luckily my amp has a gain knob to turn it down until the hiss is gone. For movies in a monoblock setup (for the front L and R speakers), previously my Arcam AVR5 receiver powered 3 speakers (center channel, surround left, surround right) in a 7.3.4 setup.
