$40 Fender Squier Strat gets some upgrades. EMG GFS Ernie Ball

Ok, so I haven&posted in a while, family commitments have had me tied up until now. I do have several builds rattling around in my skull, so more is to come. This vid isn&so much as a project build, as it is assembling, but I posted it anyway. I was recently sidelined with severe bronchitis, and was quarantined indoors, bored as can be. The Squier had been hibernating in my basement, ever since picking it up way back when at a yard sale for $40. Time to put lipstick on the pig: I stripped out most components, leaving behind just the body ant the neck. On went a Mexi Strat bridge with a GFS brass block, an EMG 81, 3 ply pickguard and bell tuner knob, a bone but, Fender locking tuners, and some Ernie Ball Titanium 10's. Yes it&strung left handed. Yes, it&still a Squier, and yes I spent a few hundred dollars turning a $40 guitar into a $60 guitar, but I had fun in the process, and now it&a proper noisemaker to irritate my children.
