I bought a VIA IEEE 1394 Firewire PCIE card from a seller on eBay and it didn&work at all. So I bought this ShineStar IEEE 1394 card with the same VIA VT6307 (the picture had VT6308P on it) from Amazon. The card worked perfectly the first time. I didn&try it with the VIA driver. I just changed to the "Legacy" driver.
