During week two on our passage from Costa Rica to Hilo, Big Island, Hawaii, we experience our first setback. But the weather is nice and we do laundry offshore-sailing-style and get some cool shots from the air of RAN sailing the big blue. We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium, untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started to sail south along the coast of Europe.
