Replacing the clock battery in an Icom IC 7000 transceiver

After a period of years the internal rechargeable clock battery in the IC-7000 stops working. The battery is fixed to the logic unit. Replacing it therefore requires some disassembly of the radio. The battery is vey small (see thumbnail image). This is not a project for beginners or people without the necessary equipment. Warning: you could damage your radio. If in doubt, don&try this!
