This arrived in top opening box fitted with a carry handle. On the outside it gives the specifications, details and a QR code for the accompanying application, details on the functions and features along with glossy images of the air fryer and food. Once opened you have a branded envelope containing the user manual, two year warrantee card and a recipe book. Everything is well packed and protected with the crisper plate on top in a bubble wrap sleeve, and the main oven sandwiched between bespoke moulded polystyrene. After unpacking everything I had a good read through the user manual, which I found clear and easy enough to follow. After cleaning the tray and crisper plate I gave the oven a wipe down and put it on a “test run” as detailed in the manual. I put the VeSync application on the phone and went through the process of linking it to the fryer and my home network, this does take you through a step by step on screen tutorial and I didn’t have any issues connecting, and it only needs doing the once when setting it up. I thought the VeSync very good as it gives a timer and notification when cooking is complete; it has a mass of recipes along with a cooking history and a section to create your own. I did my first test by making some fries from cut potatoes lightly coated in olive oil which turned out great, and I did shake them twice between cooking although it does say this is not necessary I didn’t want any sticking together.
