Here&a review and demo of the Fender American Original 60s Precision Bass. This is a fantastic bass that evokes the vibe of a 60s P bass through its specs, materials, and appointments. I strung this bass with Fender flatwound strings; it comes stock with Fender roundwounds. I used no effects or post processing for the demo and jam in this video so the low notes definitely redline the recording. In this video, I first run through an overview of the bass. Then I do a demo of how this bass sounds at different tone control settings. Starting at 100%, then 75%, 50%, 25%, 0%, and then back to the tone 100% open. Finally, I play a jam with the volume and tone at 100%, no effects or post processing used so please excuse the lower notes overdriving the signal at times. Recorded using GarageBand on an iPad Pro.
