Yuri Slonov - Starlight (Slow Foxtrot)

Beautiful foxtrot by Slonow (1906-1981), whose teacher was Alexandrow in Moscow. Apart from easy piano music he also wrote Operette and some orchestral works and more. The tempo is umerenno, so "modest" or moderato, as i interpret it, which is not really "slow". Again a piece which I rerecorded because it was much faster in the first version. I think now the mood is captured a bit better. The score and this piece is in the book number 3. Thanks Alex for showing me all this! a little detail which is find rather amusing is the fact, that the last name of this composer apparently can be translated as "elephant", so the translated site literally reads "Yuri Elephants" :-D
