Stabat Mater, Vivaldi RV 621

Whilst Stabat Mater is not a cantata as such, out of context and in the concert hall, there is an opportunity to treat it as a song cycle. This is in counterpoint to all the sublime meditative commercial recordings that exist and as such, this clip should not viewed as a finished article, rather a starting point of musical conversation, to be developed and added to at every live performance.
