Bass wise, the soundsticks appeared louder around 55hz while anything below the Onyx 5 played better and cleaner. I really am impressed with the onyx 5 with it&sound. It&amazing knowing I can get a full sound with just a speaker without having to purchase a subwoofer. The onyx 5 is a smart speaker so meaning it balances out the sound and compresses it a little bit due to it being mono. But it&helpful, so when a song with heavy bass comes on at high volume, it lowers the bass so it still sounds clean even on high volumes which I love! The soundsticks however are manual meaning you have to adjust the bass settings and sound yourself, but the sound is more professional due to it being a full 2.1 system while the Studio 5 sounds like a 1.1 system. So yea bass wise, the studio 5 seems to have louder and a more noticeable bass boost around 55hz and below which is quite impressive when you put the speaker in a tight cornered area. The sound cam bounce off and amply with the help of a corner. That&how you get the best bass response. The soundsticks 3 I put there so it could be a fair comparison bass wise, the microphone can&pick up the bass well due to how loud and overwhelming it was. But hey I don&expect much from an s9 microphone.
