UPDATING TO SYNC 3.4 USING CYANLABS! | LATEST SYNC 3 INSTALL! | FOCUS RS

I have update my Sync 3 infotainment system to the latest version! Last year I did a video that was part vlog where I showed you how to update the Ford SYNC 3 system in the MK3 Focus RS (also applies to any Ford car that has the same SYNC 3 infotainment system!) using the official Ford website where you input your vehicle details and then get the appropriate files which you then load onto a USB device and install into the car before returning to the website to load the update / log file. This process is fine but has a limitation of only allowing the updating to a certain point in the Focus RS (and likely other models too) which for me was version 3.0. I know, however, that there is a newer version out there - version 3.4 - that brings quite a significant visual upgrade amongst other things - and I want it! I show the process from start to finish both on my computer from getting the update files required from the Ford website to preparing the USB storage device, and then moving out to the car and showing the process of uploading the new update data into the SYNC system. There is a pretty awesome resource out there that provides a custom made software tool that takes some simple information about what you have and what you would like and then downloads all the correct files, formats your nominated USB device appropriately and loads all the files onto the device - all automatically so takes any guess-work out of the install media creation process for updating beyond the...
