Inside The $12 Million Pilatus PC24 Private Jet Intro The Pilatus PC24 is simply unique. It’s the only aircraft combining the versatility of a turboprop with the cabin size of a medium-light jet, and the performance of a light jet. It’s a plane that simply doesn’t fit into any of the existing business jet categories. That’s why Pilatus had to create a new one: the Super Versatile Jet category. The Pilatus PC24 has been engineered to be “off-road” compatible from the beginning. Its outstanding short-field performance, even on unpaved runways, opens up an incredible level of mobility. Overview & History The Pilatus PC-24 was unveiled in May 2013 and deliveries began five years later in April 2018, making it a one-of-a-kind offering in the private jet business. It does not strictly fit into any current aircraft category. It features the cabin space of a midsize jet, the performance of a light jet, and the maneuverability of a turboprop. This has prompted Pilatus to design a new category for the PC-24, dubbed the Super Versatile Jet. It has a strong short-field performance and can land and take off on dirt runways. Interior The Pilatus PC-24 has a continuous level floor with a cabin height maximum of 5 ft 1 in, comfortable leathers, and rare oak cupboards with unique designs.
